The Women’s Institute (WI) was formed in 1915 and is now the largest women’s organisation in the UK. They celebrated their 90th anniversary in 2005 and currently have 208,000 members in 7,000 WIs. Such a large membership organisation has a requirement to produce an Annual Review each year, detailing the financial situation as well as a look back over the achievements of the year.
We produced
Incorporate were asked to create a fresh look for their Annual Review, in-line with a recent rebrand and their more contemporary feel. We focused on a clear, image-led layout whilst incorporating key-line imagery to add interest and relevance to the content in an effort to engage with the audience as effectively as possible.
It achieved
The Annual Review received lots of positive feedback, was published both in print and online and was available to all members.

“It was a pleasure to work with Matt and Nicky throughout the design of the WI’s 2009/2010 annual review. As with most projects of this scale, there was a lot of written content to balance alongside photography, but Incorporate managed to produce an eye-catching and visually appealing review that included lots of text without compromising on design. Overall the review has received wide-spread praise within the organisation and we are looking forward to working with Incorporate on producing something even better for this year’s review.”
